1 injured, car split in half after collision with train in South Los Angeles

A violent collision between a Metro Blue Line train and a vehicle in South Los Angeles left one person injured Thursday. Firefighters extracted the person from the vehicle, which had been split in half due to the force of the collision. Their status was unknown.
