ABOUT Little Cookie ~ My Doll photo exhibition 2015 HK
Revolving around Hongkong, Little Cookie witnessed traditional small businesses forced to close under the ruthless rental increase by developer hegemony. Coupled with the ongoing surge for urban renewal and demolition of old buildings, the old streets of Hongkong are slowly vanishing. With no capital to fight against large corporations, nor interested people to take over business in the traditional way, small businesses are steadily phasing out, taking with them the warmth and hospitality that stemmed from tightly-knitted community based on sharing the same cultural heritage.

Tracing the dying footsteps of traditional Hongkong, Little Cookie found herself on a desperate race to capture as many small traditional businesses as possible.

Today, with a collection of over 100 photos shot using visual illusion, Little Cookie hopes that this exhibition can help you relive the warm collective memories of Hongkong people through the eyes of My Doll!
今次作品圍繞香港舊區,香港人這幾年來不斷在地產霸杈提升租金的壓力下坑葬了不少香港人的集體回憶!!!隨著一棟棟舊樓的拆建，重建造成的市區高級化，社區網絡逐漸星散,小企業被扼殺,傳統行業青黃不接,老店所承傳的文化和昔日街坊街里式的人情味,已逐漸離我們遠去!小曲奇在這數年拍攝這輯百多張的照片其間,感受很深!因為跟本沒有辦法去追趕它們消失的速度.....
展覽以娃娃的眼光看著香港的變遷....透過視覺錯覺的拍攝手法,希望帶給香港人一些窩心的回憶~~!!!
