How the Tide is Starting to Turn on Magazine Bans

Washington Gun Law President, William Kirk, discusses the recent law suit of Heller v. District of Columbia, where the Heller Foundation once again sued the District of Columbia, this time over their law which limited the number of rounds a person could carry with them to no more than 20 rounds at any one time. Rather than fighting the lawsuit, the District of Columbia instead chose to repeal this oppressive law and conceded defeat. However, D.C. also has a magazine ban which provides the exact same restrictions. So if the law banning the number of rounds one could carry was unconstitutional, how then is the same law, which does the same thing, by merely banning magazine capacity?
