Hong Kong truck drivers can now enter mainland China to pick up deliveries, instead of handing over to drivers at the border. This comes as China eases its strict COVID-19 policy, sparking hope that cross-border resumption can materialise soon. Under the new arrangement, drivers still need to take rapid tests and can proceed once they test negative. There is also no quota on the number of drivers allowed in. Hong Kong authorities have said there's a high possibility of quarantine-free travel with the mainland in coming weeks.
