Samurai is a starting Class in Elden Ring. The Samurai has high Dexterity, Medium strength, endurance, mind and vigor. It starts the game level 9 with a katana, bow, arrows (flaming arrows too!) and a shield. The Classes only determine the starting Stats and Equipment of the player, but as the game progresses, players can freely change their build to their preferred playstyle. There are 10 Classes in Elden Ring that the player can begin the game with.

The Quality Samurai Build is a balanced strength and dexterity samurai build designed to operate without any faith, intelligence, arcane, or any other gimmicks. No spells, incantations, special potions, nothing. Just plain hacking and slashing for the noble and historically authentic samurai build.

The Arcane Whitelands Samurai is the best Samurai Bleed Build i have tried yet. It does not use the Rivers of Blood, instead using two blood affinity Nagakiba katanas which have far superior blood loss buildup and reach than the Rivers of Blood. This build melts enemy bosses like they were a bad joke, and also works rather well in PVP. With some additional boosts, including a mask that increases bleed arcane damage, this build is pretty much perfect for a high level arcane player.
