One of the simple strategies to support immune health is to supplement with zinc. 15-30mg daily can help to promote healthy levels of zinc in the body. In this quick video we discuss:
1) Zinc supports healthy digestion
2) Zinc supports the immune system
3) Zinc supports healthy testosterone levels
One thing I do not discuss in the video that is useful to know is people who sweat a lot tend to need more zinc than people who do not sweat much- so if you are someone who likes hot yoga, or anyone who spends a lot of time outside in the warmer months, supplementing with zinc might be necessary for optimal levels.
Last note: do not purchase a zinc oxide! It is the least absorbable compound.
