Purpose of Church | Predestination

All religious and spiritual institutions are doomed to become corrupt.

The nature of organization, social interaction, and self-sufficiency (either economically or socially) ensures that any spiritual and theological teaching and understanding will become separated from institution as a whole.

The organizational maintenance and continuation forces the awareness and understanding of its constituent members to differentiate.

And it's not reasonable to expect any church or spiritual group to practice or even understand anything of value in regards to spirituality.

But the purpose of the organization is not the practice or the understanding of religion or spirituality.

All understanding and practice is done individually.

All spiritual growth happens individually and involuntarily at the time appropriate based on the experience of every person in his or her own life.

The religious institution serves only to preserve and make available the pattern within the spiritual teaching.

Exposure to the pattern is sufficient for spiritual development on a personal level.

And while religious organization may be a temporary hinderance for those bound by the organization,
it is a fundamental part of those peoples' journeys as a whole.

Later on, when members of religious organizations break the bounds of their membership, spiritual understanding is available for them.
