Arctic conditions across the country cause travel problems

It's a winter weather nightmare before Christmas. An intensifying storm is plunging temperatures, dumping snow, and snarling air traffic across the country. The National Weather Service is calling this a life-threatening situation, as more than 110 million Americans are under winter weather alerts from coast to coast.
