In Peru, a vortex swallowed 25 dancing students during a graduation party

Students were celebrating graduation in Peru when a concrete dance floor collapsed, causing 25 of them to fall into a funnel the size of several cars.

A group of boys and girls huddled together in a tight group, jumping up and down in unison to the music as the sinkhole formed.

The incident was covered by the Peruvian newspaper El Popular, which reported that there were no fatalities, but it was unclear if there were serious injuries.
