Hong Kong lifts all COVID-19 travel restrictions, ends "0+3" rule for arrivals

In a major shift, Hong Kong has scrapped its "0+3" arrangement, which required travellers to serve three days of medical surveillance upon arrival. The city is accelerating its reopening plans amid a sluggish economy. From Wed (Dec 14), inbound travellers will be free to move about town, enter restaurants and gyms upon arrival. However, they must still take on-arrival PCR tests. Hong Kong has also removed the requirement to scan the contact tracing app when entering premises -- people can simply show their vaccine records instead
