When one comes to the conclusion of something in the most genuinely way possible
That is there conviction- Passion - belief
Those can be limiting. And scary because to learn something that profoundly about the way you think can also be limiting.
The version of you that either didnt have this conviction basically has to die;
that’s the unknown
What will my sacrifice of that part of me
actually come through as, what will it potentially manifest into, what will a version of me that actually does have this conviction look like?
Questions.
But before questions came willingness !
Before The willingness to even dive in and explore how strongly you feel about something came the willingness to sacrifice the version of you that doesn’t feel that something.
In my opinion the root of this question,
The area that these questions are originally planted to even potentially blossom into the willingness to ask them -
- Ones interpretation of what constitutes ‘good’ & ‘evil’
- Versions of what both sides mean
- How they are most commonly Represented
- What they appear as in everyday life
- To what degree does this make up what a person stands for - or even - who that person fundimantally is.
- Ultimately conforms to what one feels is desirable & undesired
- How strongly one feels something is one way or the other is what consequently makes up who a person is - what they stand for
- What they stand for - what aren’t they willing to sit down & accept. Sitting implied as a form of obedience at least in the connotation of this particular phrase
What a person is willing to do so that something ‘good’ happens or something’bad’ doesn’t happen is what drives human behavior- day to day behavior.
So - at the end of all this I come up with my thesis which is, “is it not desirable to know what you want.” Why aren’t more people becoming willing to ask the truest part of themselves ‘what they are willing to do’ in order for ‘what they desire to have accomplished’ to come true!?!?
Present tense and future tense.

For example when one believes in something so strongly they are willing to begin building a cathedral that won’t be finished for 300 years !
Now there’s different motives one would have to accomplish a feat of that magnitude;
Take the construction of the pyramids that will take twice that length of time.
Maybe it’d be considered’good’ to do that so their future generations can benefit from it
And considered ‘bad’ to ensure that they are immortal out of a fear of death - which could also be considered a ‘bad’ fear ....

Sure, maybe they were slaves and had no choice but they had convictions too- not to die, right ?
Not to mention those who are so strongly acting out their convictions they are willing to enslave Tens of thousands to then build the pyramids !!!

This viewpoint is vital to Our position here at DaamnTalk. Maybe you’d care to elaborate on the subject (here OR on the DT community)? www.DaamnTalk.com

Conflicting views are what we’re all about! (Just not from the same individual! LoL) That’s the Difference between ‘flip-flopping’ & ‘changing one’s position’ though, isn’t it? One is likely externally motivated & the other usually takes time to authentically unfold. Thanks for sharing & don’t forget to subscribe so you & I can keep the DaamTalk going!
