Russia's Had 3 Pipeline Explosions/Fires In Past Week, What's Going On?

It is the third major incident at Russian energy facilities in less than a week. In all cases explosions were reported before major fires.

A day earlier, a fire hit a natural gas field in the Siberian region of Irkutsk, injuring seven people, two of whom remain in serious condition. Last week, another fire caused by an explosion at an oil refinery in the Siberian city of Angarsk killed two people and injured five others.
