HORROR OF THE BLOOD MONSTERS 1970 - With a intergalactic vampire plague threatening earth, an expedition is sent to a distant galaxy in hopes of discovering the source. Landing on a mysterious planet, the group discovers living dinosaurs, a race of vampire cavemen, and other pretty bizarre creatures.

Adamson made this concoction from a 1960s B&W Filipino monster movie called Tagani. Al liked the film so much that he purchased the rights and brought it to the US. The problem was that drive-ins demanded color films, so Al shot new color footage with a wrap-around story, took highlights from the Tagani film and tinted them, explaining it away with "atmospheric radiation".
