Victim or Victor is up to you. And just to give you a short timeline, at birth, I was rejected by my father. I don't even have my father's last name.

Physically abused and Molested by my stepfather starting at the age of 6yo.

We always lived in poverty, raised in the projects.
Finding a boyfriend at 13 yo, Age 14 found me pregnant, age 15 found me the mother of a son to a monster who raped and beat me on many occasions.

Nearly murdered with a gun to my head I ran for our lives
Ages 17-19 found me living in a battered women’s shelter, struggling to survive and support my son while I try and finish high school.

Age 21 found me married and pregnant again with another beautiful son
Age 27 my husband left me for a 18 year old girl, left me a single mother, took everything he could from me and gave me a miserable divorce, while I worked 12 hour shifts, having my oldest son watched his little brother.

Age 29 I found my second husband, we lost our home to a fire and were homeless. We struggled financially and were always getting evicted because we couldn’t make ends meet.

Age 34 found me miserable in a dead-end job and no education beyond high school.

Entering college at age 35, loosing everything and being homeless while we slept in our car, our friends’ homes, that heart ached lasted over a year.

I know that it took me just a few minutes to tell you about all that I've been through, from rejection at birth to being homeless, the whole thing.

One of the biggest aspects of my becoming a Victor was finding Faith in God which produced faith in myself. I know that if He is with me what can Prevail against me.
