It all goes back to when the UFC, Ultimate Fighting Championships first started and White needed some support. He reached out and Donald Trump was there for him.

Trump hosted the first two UFC events at his casino, staying to watch all the fights. Throughout the years their friendship has only grown stronger. And following Dana speaking for him at the Republican convention, their friendship just went to another level. Dana commented that Donald has always been the first guy to reach out to him whenever he had success in his life. Saying that he is the kind of person who is genuinely happy to see you having success.
