Battle of Chippewa
July 5th, 1814, American Forces under General Winfield Scott scored a tactical victory over the British forces led by Maj General Phineas Riall at the Battle of Chippewa. Riall mistook the Americans Regulars for militia due to the grey coats instead of the regulation Blue. Battlefield is in pristine condition.
