Federal Alert Ready System Test Today

so the federal government in Canada has decided that everybody needs to get a emergency alert ready text or notice on their various devices today. Including cell phones. strikes me as a little intrusive and very unconstitutional. I'm like an amber alert you don't get to sign up for these oh, the government is just going to send them. targeted by location. doesn't seem terribly little brother
