LIVE COVERAGE: Joint Press Conference with US President Biden and Ukrainian President Zelensky

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and US President Joe Biden hold a joint press conference in Washington D.C. on Wednesday, December 21.

The Ukrainian leader will be received in the Oval Office for discussions about the strategic partnership, military aid and sanctions ahead of a joint press conference where Biden is expected to announce the next aid package to Kiev including the sophisticated missile defence system Patriot.

The Ukrainian Head of State is also expected to address the members of Congress on Capitol Hill in person, after his previous virtual address in March 2022.

This is Zelensky's first official trip outside the country after the start of the war in February 2022.
