Laying On of Hands: Transfer of Authority or Landmark Baptist Tool of Tyranny?

This message is about the doctrine that is taught by Landmark Baptists and Baptist Briders about the laying on of hands. They teach that the mention of laying on of hands spoken of in Hebrews 6:2 refers to a transfer of authority at ordination. They also reference other instances of laying on of hands by the apostles in the book of Acts to prove the necessity for this practice in transferring authority. We go through a Bible study about all the instances of laying on of hands and the different reasons why it was done as well as read some quotes from Baptists in history and what they had to say about this subject.
