The allure of Emily in Paris stems from its over-the-top, often très cliché extravagance. While fashion is certainly at the forefront, the Netflix series has taken viewers to several breathtaking filming locations in France—from the Palace of Versailles to Le Château de Sonnay. The show’s third season, now streaming, unfolds across even more dreamy settings. From the top of the Eiffel Tower to an iconic bathhouse-turned-hotel, take a look at all of the exciting filming locations featured in the latest installment of the rom-com series. Warning: Once you're done browsing, you might feel an extreme urge to jet off on a one-way ticket to Paris. Courtesy of NetflixThe production design for the Pierre Cadault Retrospective was inspired by the 70th anniversary Dior exhibition. It was even filmed at the same place: Musée des Arts Décoratifs. Located in the heart of Paris, the museum displays a collection of nearly 6,000 objects—from designer clothing and jewelry to furniture and toys. Other museums and galleries you can spot throughout show include Musée d'Orsay, Fragonard Musée du Parfum, Musée de la Vie Romantique, and Galerie Perrotin. Eiffel Tower“Yes, we filmed on the Eiffel Tower, and at Le Jules Verne, the restaurant inside the Eiffel Tower,” showrunner Darren Star shared in a press brief. “I didn't even think it'd be possible, but I think Paris has been very generous to us and in giving us access to amazing locations all over the city.”While you may not be able to have these spots all to yourself as the cast and crew did during filming, it's still possible to check these iconic touristy destinations off of your bucket list. This typically takes place during the summer months with many tour companies and guides citing mid-June to mid-August as the general period and July as the perfect time to go for peak bloom. Château de MontpouponA view of the Château de Montpoupon from afar. Catherine BIBOLLET//Getty ImagesThe hot air balloon scene was shot at Château de Montpoupon, a castle located in the Touraine region of the Loire Valley. There, visitors can explore the château's various rooms. There's also a museum comprised of 30 rooms dedicated to the craft of hunting. Among them is the Hermés room, which takes visitors through the stages of saddle-making and features harnesses, saddles, and scarves by the luxury brand. Oh, and there's a taxedermy house if you're into that. Of course, you can also explore the grounds and take a nice forest walk. Bonus: You can take a virtual tour of it all here.
