You can use any type of bread you like, such as white bread, whole grain bread, or a baguette. You can also use a wrap or a pita pocket instead of bread if you prefer.

Filling: Choose your favorite sandwich fillings, such as sliced deli meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, avocado, mayonnaise, mustard, or any other vegetables or condiments you like.

Instructions:

Start by prepping your bread. If you are using a baguette, slice it lengthwise so you have two long pieces of bread. If you are using sliced bread, simply toast it if you prefer.

Assemble your sandwich by layering your chosen fillings on one piece of bread. Start with a layer of deli meat or other protein, followed by cheese and any vegetables or condiments you like.

Place the other piece of bread on top of the fillings, pressing down gently to close the sandwich.

If you like, you can spread a little bit of butter or mayonnaise on the outside of the bread to give it a crispy, golden brown crust when it is grilled or toasted.

To grill or toast your sandwich, heat a pan or griddle over medium heat. Place the sandwich in the pan and press down gently with a spatula. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the bread is crispy and the cheese is melted.

Serve your sandwich hot, cut in half or into smaller pieces if desired. Enjoy!
