This is the Final Project I made for my Race and Representation class.

Short Writing:
I started jotting down ideas for this final project after December and finalized the concepts of my creative project about a week ago. They say some of the best ideas come from in the middle of the night. (This is also happened with another class.) As a young girl, I have always been inspired by positive black representation and black/indigenous culture. So, I stick to what I’m used to in order to help me grow while still learning the good characteristics from other media that will help improve my talents, skills, and just being a better person.
In this project, the components that are being studied are black culture, black representation, plastic representation, intersectionality, and black future with an emphasis on black content creation. From the video project, I have included popular black culture as well as individuals that might not be well known yet or even people that are in the middle of that spectrum. Editing this creative project has greatly emphasized how those selected elements interchange, correlates, and overlap simultaneously and indefinitely.
Once I finalized my ideas for this creative project, I was filled with excitement from then and the excitement will continue to remain. Either I have interacted with some of the components in my creative project or I have received a vast amount of value from each content creator that has changed my life. I appreciate all the consultations (most of them free) and the investment they have contributed to my life. Because of their assistance and dedication in seeing me succeed, I am even more thrilled to finally start my media business that I have been holding on for nearly a decade. The networking is magical, the friendships are comforting, and the counseling is beneficial. This is literally my last Final for the rest of my degree. It is so exhilarating, and I feel so free.
