Horse with black and white tabby and wild animal in horse. It is one of the few relatives of the modern horse. It is widely distributed in the savanna region of the African continent. It has a habitat from Sudan above to South Africa below. The body height is about 120 ~ 160cm, and the weight is about 160 ~ 500kg, which is smaller than a horse and similar in size to a donkey.

There are currently three species of zebra: the savannah zebra (Equus quagga), the Grevy zebra (Equus grevyi), and the mountain zebra (Equus zebra), all of which live in Africa. These three species are mainly distinguished by body size and stripes, and each species has a different preferred habitat. Subspecies of the savannah zebra include the bald zebra, the Crochet zebra, the Wurzel zebra, the Chapman's zebra and the Grant's zebra, and the extinct quagga is also a subspecies of the savannah zebra.
Subspecies of the mountain zebra include the Cape mountain zebra and Hartmann's mountain zebra.

Although the name is a zebra, in fact, it is closer to a donkey than a horse, and there is not much difference in size and body shape from a donkey. In other words, the result of painting a zebra pattern on a particularly dirty donkey is a zebra.
