Trying to DeGoogle (Nvidia Shield Pro, Hiby r5 Gen 2) | Raspberry Pi VPN/Ad blocking Router

My ongoing attempts to degoogle my used devices or means of consuming content.
Quite difficult on the Nvidia Shield Pro (2019) and Hiby r5 Gen 2 as both require a Google sign in. As far as I am aware a degoogled alternative to the Nvidia Shield, with similar functionality and features, does not exist.

Working towards a degoogled home network, server, router with ad blocking. Considering getting Pi-hole via a Raspberry Pi to use as a VPN and router with Ad blocking. An alternative to the difficult to get Raspberry Pi is the Rock Pi 5. Also considering the Zidoo Z1000 Pro for playing my 4k Blu-ray rips as that is a degoogled option.
