If you have a Ganesha made of Turmeric powder, soft clay, or Kozhukattai dough, only use spoons to pour water and other abhishekam materials into the pot; otherwise, the Ganesha would dissolve in the water and become unrecognizable. If you are doing Abhishekam, you may say this Ganesha Gayathri mantram. Draw a Kolam/Rangoli on the ground where you will be doing the puja.

The performance of a sacred Puja or Pooja to Lord Ganesh is done in order to obtain success, happiness, and prosperity in one's life. He is the God who eliminates any barriers in the way of your plans, job, business, or activity, allowing you to achieve triumph in all of them.

The Ganesh Pooja or Homa removes all of the stumbling blocks that stand in the path of your achievement. It is Lord Ganesha's strength, which signifies the supreme Being's ability to eliminate barriers and assure human achievement, that is represented by the Hindu deity. This Holy Pooja will bring you good fortune and wealth.

In Hinduism, Lord Ganapathy is regarded as the God of Good Fortune, and as he blesses his followers, he ensures that they achieve success in all of their pursuits.

Lord Ganesha is revered for two qualities: siddhi, which means success in enterprises, and buddhi, which means intellect. Before any business deal can begin, he is adored. Education, knowledge, and intelligence, as well as literature and the beautiful arts, are all attributes of this God.
