Jaeger: Now that we have a healthy variety of weapons we can effectively counter any enemy we come across much like type matching in Pokemon. It has made things progress much more smoothly. We are clearing missions left and right without much thought. This is why I started just running straight into battle without a plan. It would of course be smarter to slowly take out one enemy at a time alongside Akari but it would be too simple. Driving around on a bike adds a bit of chaos to the formula which makes for great unexpected moments like the ambulance rescue. I am also getting invested into the story so I kind of want to rush the battles to see what happens next or new enemy types. But of course I'll be coming back after the first playthrough to get more interesting battles on hard mode and of course on hardest. Normal mode right now is a good way to experience the story at a nice pace. I remember starting EDF 5 on hard mode and then getting stuck on some stages because my armor was too low. Then I would have to spend a lot of time grinding armor. I think the developers designed the game to be played through on normal or easy first then you already have a nice stack of armor when starting hard mode. As for the dragon it was pretty cool but like the other kaiju battles in the EDF series there aren't really any big item drops and since it ran away it felt pretty anticlimactic. At least drop some items before you run away! It reminds me of the giant battles in the Monster Hunter series. There are certain giant monsters that take so much time that people don't like to do them again later. No way am I gonna do Jhen Mohran twice in one day lol. If I could make a change to the EDF dragon I would have multiple dragons so we could actually finish the fight to end and then see another one and that be its own separate battle and/or have a massive item drop at the end. Some kind of satisfying conclusion after a long battle would be appreciated.

About Our Channel: We are an international married couple that enjoys gaming together. Jaeger was born and raised in the USA and Akari was born and raised in Japan. Both of us have played games throughout our lives and when we met each and started gaming together we had so much more fun together. Unfortunately we had so many great gaming moments together that it became difficult to remember them all. We began saving videos and screenshots as we played together but eventually our storage space started to fill up. So we moved to YouTube where there is plenty of storage and its safe from accidents.
