Dr. Saleeby and Dr. Keith Berkowitz also explain the Herxheimer or Herk reaction that can take place in the body when certain microbes die off in the body, causing aches, pains, discomfort, and even potentially fatal in the worst cases. Dr. Saleeby recommends treating very slowly in those suffering from Lyme disease.
