Turkey city of Izmir hit by deadly car bomb blast

Turkish authorities say they suspect Kurdish separatists are behind a bomb attack that killed two people in the port city of Izmir.

A car bomb was detonated outside a court house before gun battles ensued, in which two attackers were also killed.

It comes a day after at least 20 people were arrested in the city in the wake of the New Year Eve’s attack in an Istanbul nightclub.
