Morocco return home to HERO'S WELCOME after HISTORIC World Cup

The Moroccan football team were given a heroes welcome after they returned from the World Cup having made history.

Thousands lined the streets in the capital to pay tribute to the 'Atlas Lions' squad following their fourth-placed finish in Qatar.

Morocco reached the semi-finals in the competition against the odds. It was the first time an African country had reached the last four at a World Cup.

Walid Regragui's men finished fourth overall after a narrow 2-1 defeat to Croatia in the third-placed playoff.
