Congress has a serious advantage over the stock market, and it seems to be from due to insider trading. Just look at the stats. S&P returns for 2021: 13.6%, House member returns: 14.7%, and Senate democrats: 15.4%.

Compare this to the fact that, over a 15-year period, nearly 90% of actively managed investment funds failed to beat the market. Which just adds fuel to the argument that something shady is going on, and it's our job as investors to do something about it.

Stock market news comes out every day and yet most investors don't know this unnerving statistics about government officials crushing what is supposed to be a fair and free market. Insider trading laws have always been enforced by the US government, yet they think it doesn't apply to them.
