Coke vs Pepsi - The Cola Wars

Welcome to a brief history of the Cola Wars! It all started in 1886 when John Pemberton, an American pharmacist, created the original Coca-Cola recipe. Then, in 1892, Asa Griggs Candler bought the recipe and founded The Coca-Cola Company. But it wasn't long until Caleb Bradham created a rival drink - "Brad's Drink" in 1893 - which he later renamed to Pepsi-Cola in 1898 and formed the Pepsi-Cola Company in 1902. Thus commenced the epic Cola Wars!

For decades, these two cola giants have battled it out for supremacy. They have created innovative marketing campaigns, come up with clever slogans, and even spoofed each other’s commercials. Yet despite their rivalry, both companies have been wildly successful.

Today, Coca-Cola and Pepsi-Cola are two of the most recognizable brands in the world. As the Cola Wars rage on, both companies continue to produce delicious, refreshing drinks that are enjoyed around the world. So grab a can of your favorite cola and join us as we take a look back at the history of these two iconic drinks.
