12.04.22 "Perception, Interpretation, and Healing"

There is nothing keeping the world the way it is except our thinking. If the world seems sick and in need of healing then we have to remember who is the one doing the "seeming." Of course, it is us. So where is the sickness? In the mind of the one doing the perceiving. So where will the healing be? Again, where else but in the mind of the one doing the perceiving. Let's remember that minds are joined so it is the healer's mission to not perceive (or interpret) sickness anywhere, and we will heal ourselves and the world at the same time. "There has been much confusion about what perception means because the same word is used both for awareness and for the interpretation of awareness. Yet you cannot be aware without interpretation, and what you perceive is your interpretation." (OrEd.Tx.10.60) I've always thought this was one of the most important passages in the book in terms of an explanation of the Course's teaching on healing. Perception and interpretation are the same thing. If we have the dedication to only make interpretations with the Holy Spirit's help, then we will be the maximum healing service that we can be to ourselves and to all our sisters, brothers, and others who also appear to be in the world. "Health is the natural state of anything whose interpretation is left to the Holy Spirit, Who perceives no attack on anything." (OrEd.Tx.8.79) Join us on Sunday to kick our miracle healing practice up a notch. 26 min. SUBSCRIBE & SHARE
