Russia and China will hold joint naval drills from December 21 to December 27, China's Defence Ministry said. The drills will be held off the coast of Zhejiang province and are directed at "demonstrating the...capability of the two sides to jointly respond to maritime security threats...and further deepen China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination for a new era", it added.
