Gabriela Eva, a neurodiverse nomad, appeared in London 2018 after a move from Essex to rebirth as a neo soul jazz pop artist. She released her debut EP 'Rise Up' this year. Giles Peterson expressed his gratitude on BBC6, BBC radio London, and BBC Introducing, Rise up is rising universally.
Acoustic guitars, electronic pads and samples, Portuguese bloodbeats, and alternative vocals combine to create a neo soul, dance and hypnotic live energy band performance. The sound comes from powerful women from the 90s, but piggybacks on an edgy and cutting-edge beat that only the coolest rappers can create.
Gabriela's futuristic organic aesthetics are a strong and bold statement bound to her sound.
