Okay, time for my story of a cougar stalking me during a hunting trip. TWO actually.
Spent the night half way up the mountain, (tarp and sleeping bag), so it was fairly easy to be at the top seeing the sunrise, sitting on my backpack, leaning against a tree, .308 deer rifle across my knees, waiting and watching a small clearing at the top of Twin Peak, (North Central Washington State).
