Gowerton (Welsh: Tregŵyr) is a large village and community, about 4 miles north west of Swansea city centre, Wales.

Gower has an ancient history, going back to the end of the last Ice Age, and the return of early humans to Gower. Gower was one of the few places in Wales where the Vikings invaded.
