January 6 Committee refers charges against Donald Trump

The January 6 Committee investigating the US Capitol riots has recommended a series of criminal referrals against former president Donald Trump.
In its closing argument, the committee laid out its first referrals to be taken to the Department of Justice, including obstruction of an official proceeding by the government.
The committee will make its final report public on Wednesday.
