I Kristus har vi blivit försonade med Gud och genom vår tro på honom fått del av nåden. Lagen som gavs genom Moses lär oss vad synd är enligt Gud, men är oförmögen att göra oss rättfärdiga. Men Jesus kan, han uppfyllde lagen och betalade priset och satte oss fria. Ta emot hans himmelska gåva i dessa jultider och låt ditt liv bli förvandlat genom den Helige Ande som förenar oss med vår själs herde Jesus Kristus.

Gal. 3:21-29 Strider då lagen mot Guds löften? Nej, inte alls. Om vi hade fått en lag som kunde skänka liv, hade rättfärdigheten verkligen berott av lagen. Men nu har skriften lagt allt under synden, och då kan löftet till dem som tror uppfyllas bara genom tron på Jesus Kristus. Innan tron kom hölls vi under uppsikt, med lagen över oss, tills tron skulle uppenbaras. Så har alltså lagen varit vår övervakare* tills Kristus kom, för att vi skulle göras rättfärdiga genom tron. Men nu när tron är här, har vi inte längre någon övervakare.
Alla är ni nämligen genom tron Guds söner, i Kristus Jesus. Är ni döpta in i Kristus, har ni också iklätt er Kristus. Nu är ingen längre jude eller grek, slav eller fri, man eller kvinna. Alla är ni ett i Kristus Jesus. Men om ni tillhör Kristus, är ni också avkomlingar till Abraham och arvtagare enligt löftet.

Rom. 4:15-16 Ty lagen framkallar vrede; utan lag ingen överträdelse. Därför är tron grunden för att nåden skall gälla och löftet stå fast för alla hans efterkommande, inte bara för dem som håller sig till lagen utan också för dem som har tro som Abraham. Han är allas vår far,

Joh. 1:16-17 Av hans fullhet har vi alla fått del, med nåd och åter nåd. Ty lagen gavs genom Mose, men nåden och sanningen har kommit genom Jesus Kristus.

In Christ we have been reconciled to God and through our faith in him have received grace. The law given through Moses teaches us what sin is according to God, but is unable to make us righteous. But Jesus can, he fulfilled the law and paid the price and set us free. Receive his heavenly gift this Christmas season and let your life be transformed by the Holy Spirit who unites us to the Shepherd of our souls, Jesus Christ.

Gal. 3:21-29 Is the law, therefore, opposed to the promises of God? Absolutely not! For if a law had been given that could impart life, then righteousness would certainly have come by the law. But the Scripture declares that the whole world is a prisoner of sin, so that what was promised, being given through faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe. Before this faith came, we were held prisoners by the law, locked up until faith should be revealed. So, the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we might be justified by faith. Now that faith has come, we are no longer under the supervision of the law. You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Rom. 4:15-16 because law brings wrath. And where there is no law there is no transgression. Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham's offspring - not only to those who are of the law but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all.

John 1:16-17 From the fullness of his grace we have all received one blessing after another. For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
