A malevolent killer who earnt the title of the UK's most hazardous detainee after four horrifying killings will spend Christmas Day alone in an underground glass confine.

Robert Maudsley, named Hannibal the Savage, was sent in the slammer after he killed John Farrell in 1974 for purportedly showing him pictures of children he had manhandled.

In 1977, he tormented and killed individual detainee and sentenced youngster molester David Francis in a vengeance assault at Broadmoor in a troubling occurrence where he tormented him to death more than a nine hour time frame.

He was then moved to Wakefield Jail, where he butchered spouse executioner Salney Darwood prior to cornering and cutting another slack, William Roberts, to death as he lay in his bed.

Last year, Maudsley engaged be permitted to use whatever might remain of his jail days with "everyone" - except bosses managed him excessively risky.

They proclaimed that the 69-year-old would be compelled to use the remainder of his life, 23 hours per day, locked alone inside a glass box underneath the prison, with a substantial chunk to rest on, a table and seat made of compacted cardboard, and a latrine and sink rushed to the floor.

The ghastliness cell is an uncommonly developed 5.5 meters by 4.5 meter space with unbeatable glass confine that was inherent 1983, almost a decade after his jail sentence started.

He will remain confined for each Christmas Day until the end of his life, with authorities promising he won't ever be delivered.

An insider uncovered a year ago: "He was told no... in any case, pursued against the choice and needed to spend Christmas within the sight of different people. However, he's simply been told no for the last time.

"Being distant from everyone else for that long does something to you. He isn't alright and they can't face the challenge of what he could do. They can't face the challenge."
