Wild Capuchins Apply Onion Bug Repellent in Human Laps

The wild capuchin monkeys of Misahualli, Ecuador, rub onions juice n themselves as a bug repellent. The catch is that they only will apply the onion while seated in a human lap. It appears to me a monkey superstition.
