The Facts Inside Our Reporter’s Notebook A pilot and a passenger were rescued early Monday morning after being stuck in a small plane that crashed into power lines in Montgomery County, Maryland, leaving thousands without electricity, officials said.
First responders started rescue efforts at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, CNN reported. The two passengers were taken to the hospital and treated for serious injuries including trauma from the crash and hypothermia, Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service Chief Scott Goldstein said.
