Over Taxed - Trudeau vs Ethics - Jean Pare
Canada is over-governed, overtaxed and overregulated
I’ve often said that if you run a factory, it doesn’t matter how productive the employees on the factory floor are if there are too many people working in administration. The business will simply not be competitive. The same holds true for a country.
In today’s highly competitive global economic environment, it’s not just businesses that need to become more efficient — so do governments. We have too much government bureaucracy and overhead, and we’re paying for that overhead through very high rates of taxation. That makes us increasingly uncompetitive on a global scale at a time when economies are engaged in global economic warfare.
Trudeau is about to raise taxes three times but hopes you won't notice
For the past two weeks, newly minted Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre has been asking the Trudeau Liberal government to halt planned tax hikes due to the rising cost of living. The government has not only refused, they’ve at times denied that raising premiums on employment insurance or the Canada Pension Plan amounts to a tax hike.
5 Myths Liberals Have Created About Themselves
Liberalism is like a restaurant with ugly decor, terrible food, overflowing toilets and roaches scurrying across the floor -- that stays packed every night. Sure, liberals may be sanctimonious, mean spirited and advocate policies that don't work, but you can't help but admire the excellence of their public relations network.
Trudeau Doesn't Seem To Know 'Basic' Ethics Rules: Expert
If repetition is the mother of skill, one political science professor suggests it’s unclear what the prime minister has learned about conflict of interest while in public office.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau could face up to three hours of grilling in the House of Commons finance committee Thursday to answer questions about his family links to WE Charity and the decision to tap the organization to run a $912-million student volunteer grant program. The deal has since been cancelled.
Jean Paré
Jean Paré (pronounced “jeen PAIR-ee”) grew up understanding that the combination of family, friends and home cooking is the best recipe for
a good life. When Jean left home, she took with her a love of cooking, many family recipes and an intriguing desire to read cookbooks as if
they were novels!
When her four children had all reached school age, Jean volunteered to cater the 50th anniversary celebration of the Vermilion School of Agriculture, now Lakeland College, in Alberta. Working from her home, Jean prepared a dinner for more than 1,000 people and from there launched a catering operation that continued for more than 18 years.
