2022 was a crazy year for retro handhelds -- we saw a ton of releases, and the community expanded greatly into areas like handheld PCs and streaming devices too. In this video we're going to round up my favorite handhelds of the year, conveniently placed in various categories that may be relevant for you. The rg35XX is a new Game Boy style handheld from Anbernic, this time without joysticks, a weaker CPU than the 353V / 351V (Plays up to PS1), but runs faster than the Miyoo Mini, with double the ram, and at a great price (and is widely available). The perfect Christmas gift, or e-waste? Stubbs goes over his impressions, unboxing, game testing, and take aways from this fun little emulation device.
