Defining Fascism: Corpus Mysticum and the Merger of State and Corporate Power

Fascism is characterized by ultra-nationalism, militarism, centralized state control, and theocracy. But in addition to these, many people believe that, essential to fascism, is the fusion of state power with the power of business corporations.

I explain why I believe that this is an incorrect interpretation, and why I believe that it is not necessarily or exactly the correct definition of fascism (even though most fascist regimes do support heavy industry and businesses).

I explain the idea that fascism is more focused on increasing the "corporate power" which is embodied by (and in) the corpus mysticum (that is, the mystical body) of the Catholic Church, than it is on increasing the power of corporate businesses.
