Detachment of the Russian Pacific Fleet warships puts to sea

Detachment of the Russian Pacific Fleet warships puts to sea to participate in joint Russian-Chinese Sea Cooperation 2022 naval exercises.

The maneuvers will take place from December 21 to 27 in the waters of the East China Sea.

Joint missile and artillery firing against air targets, artillery firing against naval targets as well as practicing joint anti-submarine actions with practical use of weapons are planned during the active part of the exercise.

The main objective of the exercises is to strengthen naval cooperation between the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China and to maintain peace and stability in the Asia-Pacific region.
