Republican Equates Vaccine Mandate Supporters To Slave Owners

There is a representative elected Walter Hudson in Minnesota about to be a state representative speaking this weekend about vaccine mandates and vaccines in general. And the most offensive comparison possible is uttered. you know the plantation owner who said I need cotton and you're going to pick it is morally equivalent to the person today who says I don't want to get sick so you have to take the Jab. I am pleased that I mean exactly what I just said. okay. not a gaffe. I mean it. You are equivalent to a plantation owner who enslaved black people and forced them to work for you if you today as a medical professional or just a member of the populace demand that your neighbor takes a vaccination to keep you safe. First of all, no. It's also the key to keeping the vaccinated safe. this isn't about neighbors it's all about [ __ ] nobody's saying you're my neighbors and I can force you to get a vaccine. That's not anything, there are no vaccine mandates. The vaccine mandates are workplace ones which are because going back to forced Labor we decided hey you know how there's a pandemic on it that's killed a million people you still got to get your ass back to work. and the one thing we're going to do and it's not because of the goodness of their heart or because they wanted a microchip but because they wanted people to stay healthy. and because the vaccine slows transmission. they said you're going to get vaccinated. because if we're going to force you into a workplace we're at least gonna have that workplace vaccinated so that we can protect you from this virus which is again killing a million people. I know he meant it but meaningfully he's a jackass.
