Using live minnows is very popular for a variety of species of fish, when ice fishing but...you can still catch some MASSIVE Crappies jigging with this soft plastic minnow, called the Chartreuse Shad Power Minnow. I used the 2" version and just broke off a small portion of the head and then teamed it up with a chartreuse jig head( you can use black as well as whatever color you so choose). As you can tell, I was Super excited to catch such a big crappie of artificial bait!
