Puppy's Christmas Surprise Gift

I see something special for me,
wrapped in pink ribbons so cute and pretty.
Maybe, if I grab and tug on each bow’s end,
then on my chewy doggie gift I can depend!

Santa knows how much I really love bones.
And I’m certain big piles of them he owns.
It looks as if he has heard my special woof,
leaving these when he landed on our roof.

Woof woof! I ‘m really a happy puppy now.
Making a Christmas perfect, he knows how!
I hope he enjoyed cookies I put on a plate,
and will always remember this special date!
