Festival of lights - Happy Hanukkah ✨

This week, Jewish people worldwide will celebrate Hanukkah, also known as the festival of lights. ✨

The celebration commemorates the Jewish revival in Jerusalem after their acts of worship were banned by the Greco-Syrian ruler Antiochus IV, around the year 168BC.

Hanukkah, also sometimes known as the festival of lights, or the feast of dedication, begins on the evening of the 25th of the Hebrew month of Kislev. The coinciding date in the Gregorian calendar changes every year, but always falls in November or December. This year, Hanukkah begins on 28 November and ends on 6 December.

Washington is broken.

Here at Convention of States we have a solution as big as the problem.

An Article V Convention of States is called and controlled by the states and has the power to PROPOSE constitutional amendments.

These are our three, simple talking points.

1. Limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government (including the president)
2. Limit the terms of office for federal officials
3. Limit the ability of Congress and the president to spend and waste our hard- earned money, via a Balanced Budget Amendment.
