I also wanted to talk a bit about gardening and its role, why it's so important, and why I'm so passionate about combining pollinator gardening with traditional vegetable gardening. If you look at Doug Ptolemies's work, which is an eight, he lives in Pennsylvania, but he's a professor in Delaware. Every year, over 2 million acres are developed in the United States, the majority of which are east of the Mississippi. A lot of people think nature is somewhere over there. But the reality is that nature is in our backyard because over 85% of the land in the United States is privately owned. And so when we think about the plants that we're planting, we want to think about growing native plants.
